The Origin Story

Not so long ago in galaxy not so far away, Tim worked for 8 years in audit and later corporate accounting. Throughout those years he found he could never quite find the right combination of Role, Team, and Company (and commute, after all this is Seattle). After years of searching for the right fit, and the encouragement of friends, colleagues, and family, he realized he had to create the role and company he wanted for himself so he could do the work he truly wanted to do.

But what to call this new adventure? Having grown up with the peace and tranquility of the Pacific Northwest, the “4th” corner of the US, he wanted to bring that to his accounting practice. Thus 4th Corner Accounting was born! With the goal of helping people and small businesses navigate the complex and challenging landscape of accounting and taxes, he set out on his epic quest!

When not working on books and taxes, Tim enjoys spending his time with family & friends, power-lifting, going to the movies, and engaging with his favorite nerd fandoms.
